Chicago BioSolutions, Inc., incorporated in 2015, is a biotech company focused on early drug discovery and development of medical therapeutics, particularly on developing small molecule antiviral agents, with a focus on emerging viruses such as filovirus (Ebola, Marburg), influenza virus, henipavirus, and SARS-CoV-2. To accomplish our goals, we have built a team of scientists with expertise in medicinal chemistry, computational science, virology, microbiology and immunology. Our R&D efforts, in collaboration with academic institutions and industry partners, have been mainly supported by SBIR and STTR grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
